Stallyourself Stats

Housekeeping

Hey everyone, thanks for bearing with us while Slanted Media have been moving premises.  You’ll have noticed a new look to the stalkyourself homepage – now the different areas of the old original Stalkyourself Survey has been divided into several mini surveys on diet, being green, social life, a summary of your day today and finally, a topical quiz updated weekly.

We hope you’ll like the changes – you can now take the survey without logging in as a user – so you can quickly check your stats!

Look forward to reporting back to you on the state of all things stalkyourself over the coming weeks.

Cheers, Victoria & Willow

As expected ? a catch all phrase for England in 2010?

Our last poll asked how you rated the World Cup in South Africa. Overwhelmingly you said the team’s performance was ‘as expected’ and it started me thinking that underachievement, in sport, weather, politics, is really on trend at the moment.

We’re making a few changes here at stalkyourself.com over the last of the summer rain but stay tuned for more survey based reflection, looking into our expectations and whether a negative, cynical or passive attitude does make a difference.

Fever? is the World Cup driving you crazy?

Take the stalkyourself survey during the tournament to track the effects of the World Cup on your diet and behaviour. Your stats will help us discover if the UK really is football mad. A recent survey found that only 13% of people thought England would win in South Africa! Whether you’re watching every game, or none, we need your stats.

The results are in?

It’s been a month since the General Election and our members predict the new ConDem coalition will only last 6 months. One unknown factor effecting people’s confidence in the government, finances and more is England’s progress in the World Cup in South Africa. Make sure you’re stalking yourself over the tournament to help us take the UK’s temperature and find out if we really do have World Cup Fever!

Britons spend one day a month online

Use that time well, for some reflection maybe, by stalking yourself!

Stalkyourself.com is a shared time capsule. Choose which areas of daily life you want to focus on; diet, money, social life or being green. Your results can stay anonymous or be shared with friends and family. Contribute to a constantly changing and fascinating insight into life in 2010 by taking the stalkyourself survey.

So what did you miss? Gillian Duffy prompted Bigotgate. Home sick, watching 24 hour news covering Gordon visiting Duffy’s home in Rochdale, I ended up watching Duffy’s front door for 45 minutes. I would know that front door anywhere now. Do you think GB handled the situation in the best way? See what PR experts think here.
The final debate was another mixed bad in terms of polls. I agreed with C4, where GB came out as the winner.

In the lead up, or countdown to the Election, stalkers are getting their 5 A DAY, but also drinking heavily. Hmmm.

Best ‘How was your day?’ quote of the week: Has to be GB with that fateful, “she was a sort of bigoted woman”

General Election 2010 – the campaign has started with three manifestos released, one historic debate and news that Clegg is the new Churchill (not the cartoon dog) .

Volcanic ash is causing chaos and giving us a taster for future global warming consequences too.
